Smile make-over in one hour---Zoom Whitening

       Zoom teeth whitening is an in-office whitening procedure. It offers the benefits of significant color improvement in the shortest period of time. This process involves the use of a high-concentration peroxide gel, applied to the teeth by your dentist who ensures that the gums and mouth are protected from application. The gel remains on the teeth for several 15  minute intervals that add up to about an hour. The advantage with these procedures is that the results are immediate as opposed to take-home kits or over-the-counter whitening.
 

Side effect of teeth whitening

       There is no true side effect associated with teeth whitening.  It will not damage your teeth or gum.  However, some patients may experience temporary sensitivity during or immediately after the procedure.  The sensitivity goes away very quickly, but a bright smile will stay with you.
 

Aftercare of Teeth whitening

       To help maintain the whitening effects of your Zoom teeth whitening treatment, you should avoid certain foods and beverages, or consume them in moderation to avoid staining your teeth. This includes tea, coffee, red wine, cola, etc.  

        Additionally, we strongly recommend not to use tobacco products after whitening treatments, maintain an appropriate oral hygiene (brushing and flossing) regimen to prevent stains from reforming, and see us regularly for scheduled teeth cleanings.

        We can also provide a Zoom home-use touch-up kit that includes custom-fitted whitening trays so that you may enhance or maintain the effect.
