Pre-Operative Instruction Prior to Dental Implant Bone Graft and Sinus Lift Surgery

 If there are any changes in your health status, please notify us immediately.  We will only perform bone graft, sinus lift or place implant when you are at optimum health to ensure the success of treatment.  The following instructions are important to follow before surgery:

 

One week before surgery:  rinse mouth with the prescribed Peridex rinse twice a day everyday (if your gum condition needs improvement).

 

One hour before surgery:  take 4 capsules of Amoxicillin (500 mg) , 1 Motrin (600 mg), and 8 tablets of decadron (0.75 mg).  If you are allergic to Penicillin, please inform us immediately. 

 

Make sure you eat well 30 min before taking these medications.  Bring an Ipod for your relaxation.  Turn off your cell phone.
